Film Screening: A Raisin in the Sun In-Person
To celebrate a Women's History Month, the library will be hosting a screening of A Raisin in the Sun (1961), based on the 1959 play by Lorraine Hansberry. The play depicts the lives of Black Chicagoans living under racial segregation and was the first play by an African American woman to be produced on a Broadway stage. Movie snacks provided.
