Film Screening: Storm Center In-Person
Join the Rebecca Crown Library as we reaffirm our steadfast stance against book bans with a special screening of 1956's Storm Center
What would you sacrifice for your beliefs? This is the question Alicia Hull (Bette Davis) finds herself asking when local politicians DEMAND she remove a book from the library. Alicia sticks to her ideals of intellectual freedom--despite being demonized every step of the way, experiencing rejection, confusion, and prejudice, but also compassion, empathy, and from all corners of the community.
